Text To Sentence Case Converter

Sentence case is a style of writing in which the first letter of every sentence is capitalized.

The term sentence case has been in use at least since 1797. It was used, for example, by the Irish reformer Thomas Macaulay in his "Essay on Lord Clive" (1840).

Sentences are typically written in sentence case when they are sentences of an article, story, or novel. Sentence case may also be used to emphasize certain words within a sentence or passage that are deemed important, or when quoting someone else's work.
