Binary numbers are made up of only two digits, the ones, and zeros. They are the base-two system that is used in computers.
Binary numbers can be seen as a string of bits that can either be 0s or 1s. The number 1000110 is made up of seven binary digits - three 1s and four 0. The number 1011011 is composed of two 0s and five 1s.
What Is a Decimal Number?
A decimal number is a number used in the base 10 system. This system is called "decimal" because it has 10 digits; 0-9. Decimal numbers are also called whole numbers or counting numbers.
