Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro technique, also known as the Pomodoro method, is a time
management method that helps people focus on their work for 25 minutes
then take a 5-minute break. It was developed by Francesco Cirillo in
1986. The technique requires timed intervals of intense focus, followed
by short breaks.
The name comes from the 19th-century Italian word Pomodoro, meaning tomato, inspired by a tomato-shaped kitchen timer that Cirillo used as a university student.
The Pomodoro Technique uses time units of 25 minutes with breaks in between. The technique claims that this interval is the most effective for focus and energy.
The goal of this technique is to help people tackle tasks without distractions or interruptions.
